When Little Bee unexpectedly appears at Sarah's doorstep, it is the day of Andrew's funeral. All three of their lives were horribly changed by that meeting on the beach. The example she (or you) came up with was sooo. I especially liked the start of chapter 3, when Little Bee told us about the difference between fear in my country and in hers country. I loved the way you wrote the book, just like Little Bee was standing in front of me whilst she told me her story. The novel opens on the day Little Bee is released from the center with no identification papers and only the address of an English couple, Andrew and Sarah, whom she once met on a Nigerian beach.
